Have you been developing a collection or series of one-of-a-kind art objects? We'd love to see your work.

ARTEFACTO is a new space for contemporary art objects at Monterroso Gallery in Houston and in our online shop. Through this open call, five Texas artists will have the opportunity to show and sell their work through ARTEFACTO for a full year and connect with new collectors along the way.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Show us pieces that belong together: a form, a material or an idea that runs through your work. * Any medium is welcome. * Every piece must be a 1/1, made without molds or mass production. * Pieces may be up to 15 inches tall and must retail for under $1,000 each. * A minimum of 4 finished pieces when you apply. If selected, you'll need to deliver them to Monterroso Gallery by Monday, December 7, 2026.

WHAT WE OFFER

* A year of promotion in the gallery and online

* A place for your work in the ARTEFACTO collection in our online shop

* Four launches of new work, one each quarter, with an event at the gallery

* Opportunities to meet collectors and talk with them about your work

The first launch is Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Monterroso Gallery, 3911 Main St., Houston, TX 77002.
